Target officially announces last-minute Holiday Countdown Sale: 50% off toys, 40% off tech, gift card bonuses, more

Alongside its holiday daily deals, it already pumped out quite a notable weekly holiday sale that kicked off on Sunday, but it isn’t done just yet. Ushering the best price yet on Apple Watch Series 11, its holiday sales (thus far) are not to be ignored, and not only does it have another weekly event inbound this weekend, it also announced an official last-minute Holiday Countdown Sale.

Again, it might seem like like these post-Black Friday events are just a ploy to keep the spending going right up until Christmas Day, and they by and large can be, but Target has delivered here. This week’s holiday sale prompted (basically forced) Amazon and other major retailers to serve up the best price ever on Apple Watch Series 11 and Target might very well have a few more tricks up its sleeves before Santa takes to the snowy sky this year.

We are expecting to get a good luck at this weekend’s deals tomorrow, and but it has now also issued an official press release regarding its extended holiday store hours, last-minute Order Pickup, Drive Up setup, and an all-new Holiday Countdown Sale.

Firstly, let’s quickly tackle the hours and pickup situation in case folks need to whip over in a pinch for last-minute gifts.

Target extended holiday store hours

From now through December 23, Target brick and mortar locations will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight local time, and then until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Another hot tip for my last-minute legends — Drive Up and Order Pickup are your holiday heroes. You can place those orders up to 6 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve and still scoop them up by 8 p.m.

Target also wants to remind folks that with its “Target Circle 360 paid membership program and same-day delivery with no markups (for orders placed by 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve), you can send gifts straight to family and friends’ doorstep with the confidence of a seasoned pro. And for you next-to-the-last-minute shoppers: Don’t forget about next-day delivery, too, now in 35 metro areas across the country.”

Now on to the goods…

The Holiday Countdown Sale

Target is launching a Holiday Countdown Sale that will specifically run from December 21 through to December 24 for your last-minute needs. It will be offering “rotating deals hotter than the Starbucks cocoa you spilled in Bullseye’s Playground.” These include:

  • Up to 50% off select toys and sporting goods
  • Up to 40% off headphones, video games and tech
  • Spend $40 on beauty/health, get a $10 gift card
  • 20% off adult sweaters and denim

And for my beloved Target Circle members (free to join, zero excuses), we’re talking about exclusive deals of 40% to 50% off toys, apparel, tech, beauty, home — basically everything except the Bullseye dog (he’s priceless).

Stay locked to Toys for t he best of them and be ready to get an early look at this Sunday’s deals starring tomorrow.
