Sony reveals new futuristic Marathon Limited Edition DualSense gamepad

Players will soon be heading out on an interstellar expedition to uncover the mysteries of Tau Ceti IV when Marathon hits store shelves in early March, but Sony has also now revealed a new limited edition Marathon DualSense Controller as well. Pre-orders are set to go live next week and you can get a closer look down below. 

New DualSense wireless controller – Marathon Limited Edition

Heavily inspired by the design cues from the game and created in close collaboration with the folks Bungie, the new Marathon Limited Edition DualSense will go up for pre-order January 29, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET in the U.S. – it will go live at 10:00 a.m. local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg,

Sony describes the new controller as being “wrapped in bold graphics and fractured shapes inspired by Marathon’s futuristic world.” Bungie says it set out to deliver a gamepad that “paid homage to the bold graphic design, vibrant color and visual art direction of the game and its industrial design, architecture and environmental surfaces and equipment.”

The newDualSense wireless controller – Marathon Limited Edition control will actually release on Mach 5, the same day as the game’s official roll out.
