All game modes in Super Mario Run now on sale, new Mario Galaxy rewards, more

Alongside the theatrical release of the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie (and a gigantic list of major Switch 2 game leaks), we wanted to touch down quickly to let folks know about the new “fun in-game events and a limited time discount” on the Super Mario Run Game on mobile. 

From now through May 28 at 11 p.m. PT, Mario Runners can complete missions “to get the following seven in-game statues of Mario” and friends from the movie:

You can check the mission objectives and how much progress you’ve made toward completing them by tapping the mission icon in the top-right area of your in-game kingdom.

If you get these The Super Mario Galaxy Movie themed statues, you can decorate your in-game kingdom with them!

Here’s a complete list of them all and how to score them:

An Adventure in a New Galaxy Missions

  • Complete three missions: Mario Statue
  • Complete six missions: Luigi Statue
  • Complete nine missions: Yoshi Statue

Stars Fall Upon the Mushroom Kingdom Missions

  • Complete three missions: Coins x 500
  • Complete six missions: Toad Statue
  • Complete nine missions: Peach Statue

Father and Son Retaliate Missions

  • Complete three missions: Rally Tickets x 15
  • Complete six missions: Bowser Jr. Statue
  • Complete nine missions: Bowser Statue

Nintendo is also promoting a Super Mario Run sale right now that has all modes at lower prices through May 28:

From April 2 at 11 p.m. PT until May 28 at 11 p.m. PT, all of the modes in Super Mario Run™ can be played as much as you like for a lower price than usual!

This is a good chance to enjoy some stages you haven’t played yet.
