Tune in to today’s Xbox showcase for a ‘world-premiere look’ at the new Metro 2039

Earlier this week, Xbox promised a dedicated first-look showcase for the new Metro 2039, and has followed through. Today’s broadcast is about to go live and it’s all waiting for you below.

The shows kicks off at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET and you can watch it down below.

Xbox promised us a “world-premiere look at the next title in the beloved post-apocalyptic first-person shooter series,” so one can only assume it will include some dev commentary and details on the experience as well as a look at actual gameplay for the latest entry in the long running series that last touched down with 2010’s Metro 2033.

Xbox are thrilled to partner with 4A Games and Deep Silver to reveal the first look at METRO 2039, the next installment in the METRO franchise.

This will be the fourth mainline entry from 4A Games in the series based on the iconic novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, following Metro 2033 (2010), Metro: Last Light (2013), and Metro Exodus (2019), all of which tell the stories of survivors of nuclear devastation living in the Moscow subway tunnels and the world that surrounds them.

Xbox has always been a home for the franchise, and we’re honored to continue that relationship by bringing you a first look at this next exciting chapter.
