AirPods Max 2 just fell to the best price ever – early Prime Day all-time low now live at up to $150 off

Update: Amazon’s price seems to be bouncing around right now, but the Starlight color is currently sitting down at a wild $399 shipped – that’s $150 off the regular $549 list price.

Joining all-time low pricing on AirPods Pro 3, Amazon has just dropped the price on the new AirPods Max 2 even lower to the best price ever at a solid $100 off the list.

Amazon is now offering Apple’s 2026 AirPods Max 2 down at $449 shipped. Regularly $549, this is a particularly fantastic discount at $100 off the list price and the best we have ever tracked.

AirPods Max 2 just launched back in March at the same $549 at the previous set. Really the first truly next-generation model, we caught our first discount in mid-May at $509 before dropping down to the previous all-time low at $499 early this month, but Amazon’s official early Prime Day deal for Prime members-only is now live to land at the lowest we have ever tracked for Apple’s latest over-ear headphones.

While they land with the same color options as the now previous-gen set and look a lot like them, but AirPods Max 2 feature Apple’s H2 chip alongside a new high dynamic range amp for upgraded audio as well s enhanced ANC and Transparency modes – “up to 1.5x more Active Noise Cancellation,” according to Apple.
