Super rare early Prime Day deal hits Apple’s latest black Magic Mouse (Lowest price in over a year)

As the early Prime Day deals kick into overdrive, and just after seeing the lowest price ever on the traditional white/silver official Magic Mouse, we are now tracking a super rare discount on the official black Apple Magic Mouse ahead of Prime Day – it is now at the best price in over a year.

As part of its early Prime Day deals, Amazon is now offering the official black Apple Magic Mouse down at $79.99 shipped. The black model fetches a premium at $99, but is now just shy of 20% off the list price.

That might not seem like a huge discount, but this thing is almost never on sale. The last time we tracked a notable price drop on this model was last summer in late August at $85. And the last time we saw down as low as we have here today was late 2024 – this is the first time we have tracked it down at price this low in well over a year.

And we are talking about the latest USB-C model with the black finish along the top multi-touch surface that supports Apple’s wonderful gesture mouse control.

The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.

If you have been waiting on a deal to refresh your black Magic Mouse, it is here – this is very much not something that happens very often.
