The price of the current-generation M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max lineup has gone up, but if you are looking to land a machine right now, Amazon does at least have some price relief here. The base M5 models are as much as $150 off the new list prices and some of the higher-end 16-inch models are up to $400 off.

As of right now these are the configurations sitting with the deepest deals right now. You’re looking at $150 off the new list prices on the M5 and as much as $300 off the M5 Pro and up to $400 off M5 Max.
Yes the prices have gone up, and these machines were less pricey not more than a month ago at this point, but it is what it is and if you are looking to score a machine you certainly don’t want to pay any more than you have to buying one straight from Apple. There’s no telling if the prices will ever go back down at this point.
The same goes for the less expensive M5 MacBook Air right now – Amazon also has a couple configurations at $150 under the new list prices:
