New Grand Theft Auto VI trailer/gameplay expected as soon as next week

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming, and quickly at that. Now less than 4 months away from your console, we are yet to see any gameplay for what might be the most anticipated game release in history, and the internet is anxiously waiting. It’s been over a year since we got a proper trailer, never mind gameplay, but, according to an insider with a very good track record, that will likely soon change, and it could be as soon as next week.

NateTheHate, a gaming insider who has more or less single-handedly ruined the 2026 Nintendo launch cycle with leaks and rumors, seems to think we are going to be getting more GTA VI much sooner than later.

This shouldn’t come as much surprise, as Rockstar has already told us its marketing efforts would ramp up this summer. But the fact that most of the summer has already gone by without a single new frame of the game surfacing has some gamers thinking the Novemebr 19 release date was going to get pushed back.

We haven’t heard anything from our sources about another delay, in fact quite the opposite, and Nate seems to think the game will indeed launch when Rockstar said it was going to in mid November.

However, the leaker also expects to see a “fair bit” of the game in August. This, for the record, is not some kind of leak, or industry rumor, by the sounds of it, but just what the typically quite on point leaker thinks.

Take-Two, the Rockstar parent company has an earnings call on August 7. This has caused rampant speculation that a new trailer or some kind of gameplay would release in and around that date. The parent company will release its earnings before the market opens that day, according to reports, as opposed to after like it usually does.

Only time will tell now, but it sounds like it might be less time than it might have seemed for some.
