Nomad’s latest-generation ChargeKey is a super handy keychain charging and data transfer tool. I wasn’t sure if I was very going to put it good use before it landed in my daily carry when it first launched, but it definitely has, and now the brand has debuted an all-new silver model.
The new Nomad ChargeKey in silver is actually the third iteration of the latest 240W model – it debut in a slick gunmetal gray color, that was then followed by a Cosmic Orange, and now Nomad has added a classic Silver treatment that matches Apple’s silver MacBooks and the bezel on the white iPhone 17 Pro quite nicely.
As a quick refresher, the ChargeKey is a small keychain tool/accessory. A couple short braided cable leads terminate on each end with USB-C jacks, while a cap of sorts with a keychain loop holds both sides together on the top. You’re looking at a premium-feeling (and looking) set of electroplated zinc cable housings here alongside a magnetic treatment that keeps things neat and tidy – the cable ends snap together magnetically when not in use.
This is the latest model that also got a spec bump by way of 240W power passthrough and data transfer action up to 10Gbps.
It’s basically just a super compact, attractive, and surprisingly handy USB-C cable in a particularly elegant package that works great on the go, whether you put in on a keychain or not, and now it comes in silver at the same $29 – take a closer look at it below:
