The countdown is on folks – we are just days away from the first look at Grand Theft Auto VI. Well, at least the first official, proper look anyway – if I were you I would stay as far away from any of those horrible low-res leaks as it appears though some huge spoilers from the game could land online any time.
I urge folks to stay away from these leaks, don’t support these hackers, don’t ruin your own experience, and don’t share them in case you ruin someone else’s..
GTA VI is the most anticipated game release in recent memory, and quite possibly ever. We have been waiting 13 years for the next entry in the crime saga sim, and it is quickly approaching.
In a somewhat surprising turn of events, Rockstar announced the first gameplay showcase for GTA VI would debut exclusively on Netflix this Thursday. It will indeed be available online for FREE several hours later, but if you want to see it first, you’ll need to be a Netflix subscriber.
In now amended report courtesy of the BBC, this Thursday’s Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Look showcase is 30 minutes long. The information has been removed, could be wrong, but also might have just been a slip up.
In an unfortunately not so surprising turn of events, some terrible short little clips of the game have leaked online. We highly recommend not going to find them and doing everything you can to avoid them (if that’s even possible at this point).
Rockstar has already begun seriously cracking down on accounts across various services in order to track down the leakers and hopefully close the tap before the leaks really start to ruin things for the game we have been waiting over a decade for.
At first it just seemed like someone had some terrible low-res clips, but it later started to appear this leaker/these individuals might actually have a more substantial chunk of the game available to them, or potentially a playable build. This also means they might have the potential to ruin story beats or opening sequences, and that would totally suck. Reports suggest more substantial story elements of the game could get leaked as soon as today
Don’t waste your time with the leaks, they really aren’t that great, and Rockstar is going to show you the game properly in just a few days now.
