The Bambu Lab P1S Combo is a solid beginner-friendly option if you want something that’s easy to set up and get printing with right away. Its enclosed design helps maintain more consistent temperatures when working with materials like PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA, while the 256 x 256 x 256mm build area gives you plenty of room for larger prints compared to something like the A1 Mini. It can also reach speeds of up to 500mm/s and comes with useful features like automatic bed leveling, vibration compensation, and filament runout detection. There’s even a built-in camera for keeping an eye on longer jobs or capturing time-lapses. The main reason to go with the Combo, though, is the included AMS, which can hold up to four filament spools and automatically switch between them for multicolor prints.
