Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale (fall Prime Day) is now under two weeks away and, as expected, Best Buy is jumping in early with a members-only sale of its own. We are already tracking some early deals from Amazon, most notably on its flagship Ring Battery Doorbell Pro. Blink Mini 2 smart cam, and a 50% drop on its latest Fire HD 8 tablet, but Best Buy has now launched a limited-time, 3-day sale that is running from now through Sunday, September 29 to poach some early fall sales from Amazon – the official Prime Big Deal Days sale will run for 48 hours starting on October 8 and you can get a complete rundown of the details right here. September Best Buy Member Deals Days now live
As mentioned above, and as the name suggests, the Best Buy Member Deals Days sale features a slew of price drops across a number of product categories that get even better for its paid Plus and Total members.
As a quick refresher, the base tier My Best Buy is free – it includes free shipping with no minimum purchase, but the Plus and Total memberships cost $50 and $180 per year. The former features exclusive access to sales like this one, as well as year round discounts on the hottest brand new releases (including all of the latest drops from Apple and Samsung, among others), while the Total membership delivers all of that plus 24/7 Geek Squad tech support and additional protection plan perks.
These paid memberships will yield the lowest possible prices during the September Best Buy Member Deals Days, much like they do the rest of the year, but Best Buy is also sweetening the deal right now and throwing in a $50 bonus reward for members with purchases totaling $500 or more. While the Member Deals Days runs through September 29, this particular promo is listed to be available to members from now through October 10 – one day after Amazon’s upcoming Prime Big Deal Days sale.
