Elevation Lab debuts elegant new way to attach an AirTag to bag and camera straps – TagVault Strap Compact from $8.50

The AirTag 2 might be inbound soon, but Elevation Lab has been on a roll this year already, delivering some of the best and most interesting AirTag accessories and mounts you’ll find anywhere. You will, after all, likely need a way to repurpose and put the AirTags you already have to good use, even if you pick up the new model when it releases, and the brand has now unleashed its next add-on – the AirTag Strap Compact. Available for purchase starting from $15 Prime shipped, you can get a closer look below.

New Elevation Lab TagVault AirTag Strap Compact

The new Elevation Lab AirTag Strap Compact is a super rugged, waterproof housing to neatly and fashionably, if I do say so myself, affix Apple’s item trackers to straps (on a jacket, backpack, or bag of any kind, for the most part).

The new model is once again falling under the brand’s TagVault moniker – a lineup of AirTag mounts and holders that provide a waterproof and near “indestructible” home for your mini Apple locators.

This time around it is delivering a more compact version of its first-ten strap mount with a smaller and more sleek housing featuring matte black body and hardware treatments and a thru-strap design that allows users to neatly attach an AirTag on a step by way of “custom self-piercing screws” – Elevation Lab says they work on all “straps up to 0.12″/3mm thick (padded material will compress).”

Features at a glance:

  • Waterproof
  • Ultra-durable fiber reinforced composite.
  • Our original thru-strap design pierces your strap and holds extremely well.
  • Keeps AirTag and its battery dry and working.
  • Great for backpacks, camera straps, bags, travel gear & more.

You’ll certainly find other accessories out there that can get this job done, but not very many, in my opinion, that will do it as elegantly and with such a premium design. While you would think something like this would come at a premium, the new Elevation Lab, like much of its solutions, starts at $14.99 Prime shipped and gets even more affordable with the 2-pack at $24.99 or the 4-pack at $34.99 – that’s roughly $8.75 per mount
