Summer Game Fest 2025 is set to take the stage today for lengthy live stream directly from YouTube Theater in California. The fifth annual gaming showcase has quickly become one of, if not, the biggest event of the gaming calendar (save for the Switch 2 bonanza this year of course), and it is once again set to debut hours worth of game reveals, world premieres, updates, and much more.

PlayStation already hosted its big event this week with the latest State of Play – it was, ummm, okay? – and Xbox is set to take the stage this weekend on Sunday afternoon, but before that it’s all about Summer Game Fest, and we are stoked. Let’s just hope Geoff Keighley and the gang can seriously deliver (they typically do to be fair).
The Summer Game Fest has already largely taken the place of the long lost E3, delivering a live, on stage showcase that represents quite large portion of the industry (basically all of it) with just about every major publisher and development house taking part in some way or other – we typically see everything from first party Xbox and PlayStation Studio titles right through to publisher-specific reveals, and even Nintendo tends to show up in some way or other.
While we don’t know exactly what will be on display, the 2025 event will likely be no exception as there is quite a large number of partners already confirmed to be taking part:
Summer Game Fest is set to go live this afternoon, June 6 at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET and is expected to run for about 2 hours straight – although we expect it might be a bit longer than that.
