Segway currently has a Roll into Fall Savings Sale running through September 30, which is offering up to $600 savings on its lineup of e-scooters, alongside some bonus savings through its Hit the Road Giveaway (more on this below the fold). Amongst the bunch, folks looking for longer-traveling options can jump on Segway’s Max G2 Electric Scooter for $799.99 shipped, which also matches in price at Amazon. While it carries an insanely bloated  $1,400 MSRP direct from the brand, no one should ever pay that – this is a $1,000 scooter every day of the week on Amazon, and now you can score it with $200 savings. Head below for more on this scooter, the other EVs seeing discounts, and the brand’s giveaway promotions.

Segway’s Hit the Road Giveaway is a member-only promotional savings event lasting through September 29 that starts by simply signing up for free, starting you with 300 miles on new accounts that can be redeemed for extra savings on orders or to score add-on accessories. From there, the brand provides you with several varying methods to gain more miles for further exclusive savings, which you can learn about on the landing page here.

With school having officially started back up, this Segway sale is a great opportunity to equip your campus commutes with a reliable solution, especially for folks who have settled and now know what their new residence may require for the upcoming semester(s). While it doesn’t boast as advanced systems as the newer Max G3 descendant, the Max G2 e-scooter is a solid longer-range option, complete with added security thanks to the Apple Find My integration. It’s weather-resistant frame holds a 450W motor (1,000W peak) and a 551Wh battery that gives you up to 43 miles of travel range, maxing out at 22 MPH top speeds.

It offers four riding modes, with lower speeds for extended travels to full speed modes that reduces mileage – plus, it has a folding body to help save on storage space and make carrying it easier. It sports a larger footboard for your comfort, as well as a front suspension, self-healing tubeless tires, the brand’s traction control system, integrated turn signaling, an LED screen for settings, and more.
