The 2025 Game Awards goes live tonight Peacock Theater in Los Angeles with over 3 hours of game reveals and almost certainly some world premiers, musical performances, and…some awards too I guess. I’m really in it for the game reveals and new gameplay footage we are sure to be graced with very soon, so let’s see what Keighley and the gang have in-store for us – watch the show live along with us down below.
The 2025 Game Awards
The 2025 Game Awards will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET with what appears to be a 30-minute pre-game show before the main even goes live at 8:00 p.m. ET for a full 3+ hours of action.
Don’t get me wrong, it is cool to see what titles win the big-time awards and it will be interesting to see how some of the Switch 2-exclusive nominees come into play here – DK Bananza is sure to be taking some hardware home this year right? – but I’m clearly in it for the gameplay footage and Keighley’s patented world premieres.
Here are this year’s Game of The Year nominees – you can expect this award to be announced around 11 p.m. tonight, if not later:

- Hades 2
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
- Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Will Kojima be making an appearance with something new? Will Nintendo deliver some interesting Switch 2 announcements during the show (new DLC has been an idea getting passed around)? The next God of War game? Who knows.
Some things we do already know about include a new look at Saros, something new from the Tomb Raider IP, another look at James Bond in 007 First Light, and we know Bruce Straley from Naughty Dog has something new to show off this evening as well.
Either way, it won’t be long now before the show goes live and you can watch it along with us below – we will be updating this post with the most exciting reveals and trailers as they land:
