KeySmart debuts new dual-network SmartCard w/ wireless charging for Apple’s Find My or Google Find Hub

We have featured a number of those super handy tracking wallet cards around here – I am a big fan if these things and carry one with me at all times. Today, however, KeySmart is launching its new ultra-slim dual-network tracker card known as the SmartCard (Gen 3) – it works with either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

SmartCard (Gen 3) debuts today

While there are plenty of brands that deliver great examples of these Find My Tracking Cards, Nomad being a particular favorite of mine, KeySmart was one of he first known outfits to deliver these handy devices and its previous-generation models have worked flawlessly for me for years.

This time around though, with the generation 3 model, it is delivering a dual-network solution that plays nice with Apple’s Find My platform or, for Android users, on Google Find Hub.

Dual-Network Architecture: Engineered for universal compatibility, this single card works with either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, providing a premium tracking solution for both iPhone and Android users.

This new model comes in at 1.8mm thick, which is, according to the brand the size of two credit cards.

It also runs on Atlas Gen 3 Chipset – an “advanced processing architecture” that “2x faster than previous generations and connects 30% more reliably than standard trackers.”

Alongside an IPX8 waterproof rating to keep its internal tech protected from the elements while you’re out and about or traveling, this unit delivers full-on wireless charging so you can juice it back up when needed using the Qi pads you likely already have in your setup. And, according to KeySmart, you won’t need to do that more than once a year:

11-Month Battery: The energy-efficient Atlas chip reduces power consumption by 30%, delivering nearly a full year of battery life before needing a recharge on any standard Qi wireless pad.

 Features at a glance:

  • Battery life: 11 months – wireless recharge via Qi
  • Chipset: Atlas Gen 3 – 30% lower power consumption & 2x faster processing architecture
  • Network: FindMy or FindHub – you decide when first setting the device up
    • This can be reset if you change mobile device type
  • 1.8mm thin

The new KeySmart SmartCard (Gen 3) is available for purchase now at $39.99, which some discounts available on the 3- and 5-packs too.
