Best Buy doubles down with FREE $50 credit on new MacBook Neo purchases for members

While we did catch some light open-box discounts on the new MacBook Neo that very quickly sold out, the only real deals on Apple’s new game-changing laptop have come by way of the Best Buy member offer. During the pre-order phase and shortly thereafter it was throwing in a FREE $25 store credit, but it has now doubled down and is now offering FREE $50 credits with purchase

Amazon is still charging the full $599 and $699 for the all-new 256GB MacBook Neo and the elevated 512GB model with Touch ID. A couple of the configurations are a few bucks off, but nothing particularly compelling (at least not any more than a brand new MacBook at $599 already is, anyway).

Over at Best Buy, however, it is still enticing its My Best Buy Plus and Total members with what is arguably the best offer out there outside of the limited EDU discount, as it will now throw in a FREE $50 store credit with purchase. Previously only $25 for folks who pre-ordered, it is now offering double credit:

MacBook Neo FREE credit deal

While I have never really loved the idea of paying for these retailer membership fees every month, this Best Buy Plus situation has certainly proved its worth over the last years or two. There have been some seriously notable perks with bonus store credit and additional discounts on brand new Apple releases, bonus credit with new TV purchases, and, now, the best deal on one of the more exciting new Apple product release in some time.

MacBook Neo features:

Ready for whatever your day brings, MacBook Neo flies through everyday tasks and apps. Choose from four stunning colors in a durable aluminum design. With a brilliant 13-inch Liquid Retina display, the A18 Pro chip built for AI and Apple Intelligence, and up to 16 hours of battery life, it’s an amazing Mac at a surprising price.
