April 26th is Alien Day and the dev team at Creative Assembly just dropped a new teaser for the upcoming Alien Isolation sequel.
We have known SEGA and Creative Assembly have had an Alien Isolation sequel in the works since way back in fall of 2024, but things have been extremely quiet since then.
While very little detail is know about the game at this point, SEGA and the official Alien Isolation YouTube accounts just teamed up to a drop a brand new teaser for the sequel after roughly 12 years since original title’s launch:
A feeling of being safer than one really is.
Simply entitled “False Sense Of Security,” the new teaser is presumably giving us a very brief look at what appears to be the game’s setting, and not much else. We see what appears to be the first game’s save station and it looks like Creative Assembly might be taking us off the ship to get our boots on the ground this time around.
Let’s just hope this extremely brief glimpse isn’t giving gamers a false sense of hope when it comes to a full on reveal and release sooner than later. It is Alien Day – the teams perhaps just wanted to take part and have something to ensure gamers the title was still in the works for the annual holiday, despite it potentially still being long ways out.
Either way, it is nice to see something from the long-awaited sequel and hopefully we get a whole lot more than this soon.
You might be asking, why is April 26 Alien Day? The planet the film Aliens takes place on is LV-426. April 26…4/26…LV-426.
Happy Alien Day 2026.
