Pokémon x Target 30th anniversary gear – Drop 2 details: New Starter jackets, start time, more

The second wave of the Pokémon x Target collection is now official. We knew it was coming after the initial run went live at the top of the month, but know have more details on Drop 2 of the exclusive Pokémon x Target. 

After an official announcement in mid-April, the exclusive Pokémon x Target 30th anniversary collection went live on May 3 online. The second wave, which will include a range of all new gear inspired by generations 1 through 3, as well as the return of the popular Pokémon Starter Jackets (including the returning Kanto Region jacket from Drop 1), goes live on June 6. 

Drop 2 features “more than 40 products spanning apparel, accessories, collectibles, travel and summer essentials,” including the following here items:

Access to Drop 2 begins on June 6 in most stores at open and online at 9 a.m. ET on the official Target site – “guests limited to one unit per item, per guest both online and in stores.” Clearly the Starter jacket was among the most popular items during the first drop, as two new Pokémon Starter Jacket styles will launch online-only on June 6 while “beginning June 7 at 8am CT, fans will also have the opportunity to pre-order a second wave of all three Starter Jackets (including the returning Kanto Region jacket from Drop 1) for delivery later this year.”

Stay locked and loaded as the best gear will sell out quickly.
