Best Buy now officially set to take on Prime Day with massive Tech Fest sale

Just after Amazon officially revealed the start time and date for its massive 2026 Prime Day event, Best Buy has now gone official with its direct competitor sale – this year’s Best Buy’s Tech Fest sale will go live one day before Amazon later this month.

Best Buy Tech Fest takes on Prime Day

The 2026 Amazon Prime Day sale will actually be a 4-day event from June 23 through June 26 this year. Best Buy is, of course, not going to let Amazon take all of the action and has now officially announced its competitor sale event known as Tech Fest.

While the announcement is yet to hit its official corporate newsroom, a representative has informed 9to5Toys that Best Buy will be launching a massive competitor sale starting on June 22, one day before Prime Day goes live.

Whereas the Amazon Prime event is a 4-day affair, Best Buy’s Tech Fest will run for a full week, starting one day before Prime and running a couple days longer before it wraps up end of day at June 28.

Best Buy has informed us its Tech Fest Sale runs from June 22 through 28 and that it will be one of its “biggest sale events of the summer.”

You will be able to save up to 50% on everything from laptops, TVs,  and gaming gear, to headphones, small appliances, and more. There will also one new Deal of the Day offers every 24 hours online – however all deals will be available on the official site and in-store.

My Best Buy Plus and Total members, we are told, will be privy to “exclusive offers on select products and can earn an extra $25 in rewards with any purchase of $600 or more during Tech Fest. Plus, new this year, members will also earn 1% back in rewards on eligible purchases. “
