Original post:

Back in March the first details and what appeared to be some rough early imagery of the first LEGO Pokémon sets with minifigures surfaced online. But there are now a series of much better and more than likely actual images of the upcoming sets all over the place.

Those with insider information suggest the first LEGO Pokémon sets with proper minifigs are set to debut later this year starting on October 1 with a new Poké Ball set:

Said to contain 2,343-pieces, it delivers an oversized Poké Ball that opens up to reveal a mini Pokémon diorama – it looks a lot like Professor Oak’s lab from Pokémon Red and Blue.

The set, as you can see from the imagery here, looks to include a series of proper minifigs: Professor Oak, two Trainers, three minifig-scale Poké Balls, and what looks to be the Pikachu and Eevee minifigs from the previous leak.

No official details have landed from LEGO yet, but insiders suggest the aforementioned release date and a price somewhere between $250 and $300 – these Pokémon sets have not been cheap.
