As you might have noticed from this morning’s coverage, Beats has taken over the Best Buy Deals of the Day to deliver what is effectively a one-day flash sale. Headphones, cables, cases, and more are starting from $9.50, but the standout deal for us is the orange Beats Solo Buds you can’t buy on Amazon down at $50.
For today only, Best Buy is offering the Beats Solo Buds True Wireless Earbuds in orange down at $49.99 shipped. Carrying an $80 list price, this is $30, or nearly 40% off for the lowest price we can find.
Amazon does carry the Matte Black, Transparent Red, and Storm Grey models, and they are regularly closer to the same $70 they are sitting around right now. But you won’t find the orange set there, and they are on sale much less often than the other three already aren’t.
The Beats Solo Buds certainly aren’t a super high-end set of buds, but, all things considered, you are scoring a current-gen set of Beats buds here for $50.
There’s no battery in the case, but we came away genuinely impressed with 18 hours of battery life the buds provide anyways, and you can just use a USB-C cable to power them back up when needed. Unless you need more than a full day of battery life or are regularly stuck on super long flights, that’s likely more than enough juice anyway.
From there you can expect the usual Fast Fuel action – “a 5-minute charge gives up to 1 hour of playback” – as well as dual compatibility for iOS and Android devices and “industry-leading Class 1 Bluetooth.”
