To kick the week off, Best Buy has now launched a special Appreciation Event sale for its My Best Buy Plus and Total members, as well as My Best Buy Credit Card holders. While the base My Best Buy membership remains free, this sale lands after Best Buy officially lowered the price of the Plus paid membership to $29.99 per year and introduced its new point system.
Best Buy Appreciation Event sale
The Appreciation Event is now live, featuring a wide range of products with bonus 2x, 3x, and 5x member rewards bonuses that deliver additional points that can then be redeemed for what are effectively Best Buy gift cards or rewards certificates. You can get a look at the gear with bonus rewards points right here – much of it is also on sale:
- Plus and Total members earn 5x rewards on select Samsung products.
- Plus and Total members earn 3x rewards on select games and gear.

You will see a small blue tag above the product name and price on a wide-range of gear right now indicating it is eligible for bonus rewards points, which in some cases is stacking on top of already reduced sale prices.
