This is a $3,199 machine that’s landing at $500 under the list price at Apple and other retailers right now. Frankly, any MacBook with a discount this massive is noteworthy, but catching one at $100 under the pre-price hike list is increasingly rare.
It is easily one of the best MacBook deals we have tracked in months.
You’re looking at a machine with the upgraded, future-proof 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU here as well (not the base setup). While I don’t really need 2TB of storage, this machine hits the sweet spot when it comes something you don’t want to feel like you need to upgrade in a year or two, and there’s no telling what the sticker price on the next-generation will be with the ways things have gone lately, never mind with OLED displays and touchscreen rumors getting thrown around.
