Less than 24 hours left to land Switch 2 before price increase tomorrow

We are interrupting your regularly scheduled Amazon Labor Day sale programming with an important PSA. The day has arrived, or rather tomorrow isn’t here yet, and that means the clock is seriously ticking now to score a Nintendo Switch 2 system before the price increases. Nintendo has at least given us a heads up of when the price will get jacked up, and Amazon is already getting ready for it – score one now while you still can

Nintendo has announced the price on Switch 2 was going up on September 1  a couple months ago, and that means you have less than 24 hours to land before that happens.

While we have seen plenty of price increases in the tech space this year, only to see “deals” drop it back down to the former MSRP. However, this is a gaming console and one from Nintendo no less – deals have been very hard to come by, during big sales or otherwise, and it’s hard to say for sure whether or not we will even see those sorts of discounts after the price goes up tomorrow.

You have until midnight (at best) to land Nintendo Switch 2 for $449 before it jumps up to $500 by morn.

In fact, Amazon’s official Switch 2 listing is already showing the price increase, or rather the $449 as a deal – this might even suggest the price could jump up before the clock strikes midnight on the west coast.

We also know the bundle deals will be going up in price too. As we detailed over this past weekend, Nintendo has now officially announced a pair of new console bundles set to release next month and in October – both of them are more expensive as well:

  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle $530 (Releases October 22)
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World $550 (Releases late September)

Here’s an excerpt from our previous feature for more context:

Switch 2 with one game was once $500, but it will soon be at least $30 more. You can buy a Switch 2 system and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort right now for $500, or the console and Mario Kart World for $529.
