Amazon introduces Prime Reading, a new service for Prime members with thousands of free books and magazines

Today, Amazon announced another new feature for members of its $99/year Prime loyalty program. The latest addition – ‘Prime Reading‘ – delivers a rotating catalog of over a thousand books for free. This service is only available to subscribers in the United States and will feature noteworthy titles such as The HobbitThe Millionaire Next DoorHarry Potter and more. Additionally, the library will also bring a variety of premium magazines across multiple genres. A few standouts include Sports Illustrated, PEOPLE, and Bon Appétit.

Prime Reading is available on any Kindle e-reader or Fire device, as well as Amazon’s iOS and Android apps. The new service is available now and you can browse the entire selection of books and magazines right here. Today’s news comes on the heels of Twitch Prime and Audible Channels that were recently announced as the latest perks for subscribers. Amazon is now offering up to $50 off many of its popular Kindle devices in celebration of the Prime Reading launch.
