WaterField debuts its new leather/ballistic nylon Nintendo Switch carrying cases, available for pre-order now

WaterField has designed a pair of new Nintendo Switch accessories that leave most of the cheaper third party options in the dust. Known for its use of robust and rugged materials, WaterField has extended its design principles to the new City Slicker and Multiplayer Pro bags.

While we have seen loads of options available for keeping your Switch and other accessories safe during travel, none with quite the same level of detail as the the new WaterField options. The leather and ballistic nylon CitySlicker was already popular among 3DS and 3DS XL users looking to cart their Nintendo handheld around in style, and now the company has modified it specifically for Switch. Along with a “soft, protective Ultrasuede” interior, there 5 specially designed pockets for your games, and more than enough pocket space to lug the Joy-Con, the straps, charging cable and maybe even an extra battery or two.

The CitySlicker comes in 5 color options and is available for pre-order right now at $79. But there are a series of additional attachments that start at $2 a piece like a carabineer, shoulder strap and more.

The larger Nintendo Switch MultiPlayer Pro case is made of “durable waxed canvas and leather”. It will work on its own with dedicated compartments for Switch and all the extra goodies, but it is designed to be able to carry the fully-loaded CitySlicker case as well. Here are some more details:

A bottom pocket holds a combination of two controllers (Joy-Con Grip with 2 Joy-Cons and/or Pro Controller) or one controller and the dock. Mesh pockets hold a removable leather game cardholder, USB-C and HDMI cables, straps, and ear buds. Two exterior convenience pockets hold personal items or additional accessories.

The Nintendo Switch MultiPlayer Pro case is also available for pre-order right now for $149.
