SteelSeries, long known for its gaming accessories, has completely refreshed its line of Siberia headsets. With a focus on providing a variety of styles and designs at different price points, SteelSeries is making sure every gamer has an option. There are four models in the Siberia line of headsets, beginning at $59.99 and rising up to $199.99.
Each model is specifically designed for a different gamer, from casual to hardcore. The entry-level model RAW Prism brings the price down in an attempt to get users to enter the market. At $59.99 this model fits in nicely with other headphones we have seen designed for entry-level gaming. The included software allows for full customization of audio profiles, as well as the ability to change the color of the illuminated ring on the set.

SteelSeries CTO Tino Soelberg proudly touts their new line of headphones:
For us, Siberia is the definition of what gaming audio looks, feels and sounds like. When it was first introduced, Siberia delivered a sense of style that was unique to what was typically expected from gaming audio. It produced exactly what was, and is necessary – ‘forget-that-you’re-wearing-it’ comfort and great sound. The new Siberia family takes this foundation and extends it into a full product range that delivers an incredibly awesome audio experience for the gamer in everyone
The Siberia v3 features the class SteelSeries suspension design and comes in at $99.99. This model has been completely redesigned with the next generation of SteelSeries audio drivers and feature noise-reducing memory foam ear cushions. SteelSeries claims that this headset delivers “rich, detailed sound with powerful bass”.
Coming in at $139.99 the Siberia v3 Prism is the next step up in the SteelSeries line of headsets. This improved model includes additional color choices for the headsets outer mesh-pattern ear cups, as well as unlimited profile settings that can be accessed anywhere via SteelSeries’ CloudSync. Additionally, the v3 Prism features microphone noise suppression and auto compression technologies that enhance voice communication.
The top-end of the Siberia line is the Elite Prism, which checks in with a price point of $199.99 and is capable of pushing out Dolby Pro Logic IIx audio. This allows for virtual replication of a 7.1-channel speaker setup which helps to create an authentic gaming experience. The Elite Prism also includes the customizable illumination settings, as well as audio profiles and a swappable cable system for use across all your devices.
Available for order today, SteelSeries currently quotes a ship date of October 7-13 for this new line of headsets.
