In this week’s Best of 9to5Toys: Mother’s Day discounts loaded up the deal scene with discounts on Amazon Echo and Kindle, plus a rare sale on Sonos speakers and Apple Watch Series 1/2. As well, we went hands-on with a number of products including Colorware’s new JoyCons and Blue’s latest headphones. Head below for more.
As I mentioned right off the bat, we all have reason to thank our Moms. Aside from Sunday’s holiday, they are the reason that we saw so many killer discounts throughout this week. Many of the biggest names in tech went on sale this week, led by Amazon Echo dropping to $150 as well as the entire Kindle lineup. This promotion is slated to end tomorrow, so be sure to act now if you want to cash in.
Apple discounts were aplenty this week, as well. That includes Apple Watch Series 1 and 2 priced from $200 as well as the 9.7-inch variety of iPad Pro getting a nice markdown too. The latest Powerbeats3 are also on sale, down to $130.
While the deals pilled up this week, we also went hands-on with a number of unique new products. Ben Schoon stepped over from 9to5Google to check out Colorware’s custom painted JoyCons for Nintendo Switch. Blair dove into the world of Star Wars LEGO with its new UCS Snowspeeder and Perry put an ear to Blue’s new Headphones.
