Here’s how to play For Honor on PS4 and Xbox One for free this weekend

For Honor, Ubisoft’s medieval melee brawler is going free this weekend. PS4 and Xbox One gamers can download and play the game for free from August 10th through the 13th. Keep in mind that while this is the full game with multiplayer included here, you will need a PS Plus and Xbox Live membership to take advantage of the online elements.

As usual with these free-to-play weekends, all of your progress data and characters will cross over into the full game should you choose to purchase it after the fact.

PS4 owners will simply need to navigate the game on the PSN Store and choose the “Try free Demo” located on the listing page. On Xbox One, the game will be available via the Games with Gold section. For any of you PC players out there, you’ll find it on Uplay.

You can see more details from Ubisoft below:

Players can access the games on each platform during the following times:

  • PS4: 10/08 at 7AM UTC to 14/08 11:59PM UTC
  • PS Plus required to join the multiplayer
  • Xbox One: 10/08 at 7AM UTC to 14/08 11:59PM UTC
  • Xbox LIVE Gold required
  • Uplay: 10/08 at 5PM UTC to 13/08 at 8PM UTC

Yes, preload is available for this free weekend only on PS4 & PC. You can preload the game from August 8th to 10th.

Of course. You can play with anyone who already owns the game or is enjoying the Free Weekend like you are.
