This dock has Thunderbolt 3 which provides data speeds up to 40Gbps. That’s enough bandwidth to run two 4K monitors and also providing up to 85W of laptop charging. With dual Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports, the SD5000T can support up to 40 Gbps of data, which is 8 times the speed of USB 3.0. It also supports dual 4K video. You can also connect via the DisplayPort. The SD5000T can also charge your laptop, providing up to 85W of charging power.

There are also dual USB 3.0 Type-A ports for compatibility with older devices. Many modern laptops now lack a wired Ethernet connection so the SD5000T provides a Gigabit Ethernet jack.

The SD5000T also features Zero Footprint Mounting, which means it can be mounted to the back of a 75mm or 100mm VESA-compatible external monitor (mounting plate sold separately). There is also a Kensington lock slot, as well, for security purposes.
