Most of our favorite iPhone X cases and accessories were released late last year, including options from Pad & Quill, Twelve South and more. However, we were still waiting on the entire lineup of new protective cases from LifeProof. The company’s highly protective covers have been keeping our expensive iPhones safe from the elements for years and now the new LifeProof FRĒ for Apple’s high-end handset is available for purchase.
Ahead of its appearance at CES 2018, LifeProof has made its new FRĒ case for iPhone X available for purchase. The highly protective case brings “award-winning” four-proof protection from water, dirt, snow and drops. That includes a “subtle” screen cover so you can still access your device in the most rugged conditions.
Now for some specs. As for the water protection, you’re looking at up to 2 meters for as long as 1 hour underwater as well as drop protection for up to 2 meters.
All of your ports are shielded and available to you, while the 360-degrees of protection also encapsulates the device’s cameras/facial recognition/speaker/mic, leaving them safe and fully functional in the case.
Needless to say, if you’re going on outdoor adventures and spending time on the job site, we highly suggest using a case like this.
FRĒ wraps iPhone X in award-winning four-proof protection from water, drops, dirt and snow. It makes the device waterproof to 6.6 feet (2 meters) for up to an hour and the slim two-piece shell keeps the device safe from drops up to 6.6 feet. A built-in screen protector keeps the display free from scratches, while dirt and snow are sealed out when all port covers are closed.
The new LifeProof FRĒ for iPhone X goes for $89.99 shipped, however we are already seeing it for a few dollars off on Amazon starting at $80.99.
Here’s our list of the best iPhone X cases, covers and folios if you’re looking for more options. And remember, Twelve South’s iPhone X cases are on sale at Amazon today from $40.
