Amazon first unveiled its Treasure Truck portable storefronts back in 2015 as a way to offer pop-up deals in large cities like Seattle and Chicago. Some of the best offers throughout the holiday season last year were, in fact, only available on Amazon’s four-wheeled deal machine. But one of the biggest issues for shoppers was not only being near a Treasure Truck, but locating said vehicle within their city before time ran out.

Well, it’s about to get easier to cash on in Amazon’s mobile deals. Today the online retailer announced that it would be expanding this service to Whole Foods Markets across the country, further cashing in on its latest merger.

In case you’re not familiar with Amazon Treasure Truck, here’s how it works. Amazon picks a deal each day and sends a push notification to eligible shoppers in that area. You can purchase the item within the app as usual, but you have to make your way to the Treasure Truck for same-day delivery. Periodically, there are offers that are only available at the truck and not within the app. It’s a fun way to shop at Amazon if you’re in a big city.

The first offer, starting today, January 30th, is the wildly popular Instant Pot pressure cooker. Those that purchase this household necessity today will receive a coupon for $10 off their next $40 Whole Foods purchase, along with recipes from Feed Your Resolution influencer, author of Nom Nom Paleo, Michelle Tam.

Today’s move to further integration between Amazon and Whole Foods is just the latest since the acquisition was announced last year. We already saw Echo devices prominently featured during the holidays, so it’s no surprise that Treasure Trucks will be outside your local grocery store in the near future.

I find today’s news to be a worthwhile example of how Amazon can further its reach in a positive way. Treasure Trucks cannot be found anywhere near my home, but we do have a Whole Foods about 45 minutes away. Potentially having access to these offers could be exciting come the holiday season and beyond.

You can learn more about Amazon Treasure Trucks here on this official landing page. There is a sign-up button about halfway down the page that delivers notifications when a deal is available in your area.
