Incase is one of those brands that typically hits the nail right on the head with each of its product releases. While this is likely due to having a great team running the company, it can also be partly attributed to the large amount of new products it cranks out. The ICON Sling Pack is Incase’s latest and it provides a form-factor that comfortably accommodates a MacBook, iPad, and many other accessories.
Any company that is heavily focused on making top-notch accessories for Apple devices always has different form-factors and styles offered in its lineup. Incase is definitely one of those types of companies and with the ICON Sling Pack it finds a way to add a new design to a lineup of 8 other sling packs that stands on its own.
I was surprised to find out that Incase’s latest offering can fit a 15-inch MacBook Pro since it looks quite compact in photos. With measurements of 19-inches long by 10-inches wide by 10-inches tall, the ICON Sling Pack is spacious enough to also fit your iPad, iPhone, cables, and many other gadgets.
Upgrade your commute with the lightweight and ergonomic ICON Sling Pack. An adjustable cross body strap delivers supreme comfort matched by a dedicated, faux fur MacBook sleeve and spacious main compartment with built in organizers that secure small items, documents or iPad. Quick access side pockets designed with mesh storage provide easy reachability to your pens, cables or battery bank.
Considering that Incase products are highly rated for their design and level of quality, it is no surprise that the ICON Sling Pack is priced at $179.99. Many may balk at this price, but lets not forget that Apple charges quite a bit more for quite a bit less with its leather MacBook Pro case.
Another mark of achievement for Incase is that it is one of the few third-party companies that meets the high standards that Apple sets for products to be sold in its stores. While the ICON Sling Pack is not currently showing up on the Apple Store website, it is not crazy to think that we may start seeing these stocked there soon.
