Amazon now offers the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 Earbuds for $329 shipped. Down from $399, today’s offer amounts to $70 in savings while marking one of the first chances to save. This is the first discount since back in May, and comes within $30 of the all-time low. Justifying that high-end price tag, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 arrive with some capable dual hybird drivers that are backed by aptX audio and some of the best ANC available in the true wireless form-factor. There’s at least 4 hours of listening per charge before it’s time to drop them in the Qi-enabled charging case which also doubles as an audio transmitter for using the earbuds with anything you can plug a 3.5mm cable into from computers to in-flight entertainment systems and more. Delivering a more affordable experience with much of the same hi-fi listening in tow, Amazon is also offering a chance to save on the Pi5 S2 earbuds. These are also some of the latest debuts from Bowers & Wilkins, arriving at the $229 price point following a $70 price cut. You’ll give up some of the more unique features like the audio transmitter tech, while dropping the price by an extra $100. Today’s offer is also a new all-time low at $20 below our previous mention from earlier in the year.
This year, I have reviewed two pairs of earbuds that are really vying for my favorite release of 2023. The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 above are one of those, if my thoughts above weren’t glowing enough. But even more recently, I saw what all of the fuss was about on the new Sony XM5 earbuds. These new flagship releases just hit the scene last month and arrive as easily some of favorite buds of the year, not to spoil too much from our hands-on review.
With some serious attention to detail with sound quality and improved ANC, these come with all of the other comforts you’d expect like 360-degree audio, multipoint Bluetooth, and even a smaller design than previous iterations. If the higher-end Bowers & Wilkins price tag just isn’t an option, Sony’s new debut offer extra value with a more well-rounded feature set at $298.
