Rumor had it we would be getting the next Nintendo Direct this week, and Nintendo has now confirmed as much. The next Nintendo Direct will go live tomorrow at the usual time. Details below.

Nintendo officially confirms the next Nintendo Direct livestream

Several rumors landed last week suggesting we would be seeing he next Nintendo Direct at some point in the first week of February. And now, just after a pair of dedicated showcases for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream – this one now has an official release date – Nintendo has revealed we will indeed be seeing a Direct showcase tomorrow.

A new Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase livestream is on the way! Tune in tomorrow, Feb 5, at 6am PT for roughly 30 minutes of upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games.

This is perhaps not the Direct you were hoping for considering it is now confirmed to be a Partner Showcase, but we will presumably get a better look at some of the big and small indie third-party titles landing on Switch 2 this year. It seems as though Nintendo might want to keep the new Pokémon Pokopia for its own show – it releases on March 5, but that one is not out of the question for tomorrow.

Details of tomorrow’s Direct first landed in the Nintendo Today app, but you can expect them to be everywhere very soon.

The show goes live tomorrow, February 5 at 6 a.m PT/9 a.m. PT.

Come tune in!
