Watch the Mario Tennis Fever Opening Cinematic ahead of its Switch 2 release this week

We were lucky enough to attend a private hands-on Nintendo event to try out the new Mario Tennis Fever, among other things. You can scope out the details in our video coverage below, but Nintendo has also just released the game’s opening cinematic to get you hyped to hit the court later this week.

Mario Tennis Fever is the latest addition to the Mushroom Kingdom’s storied history on the court. It has been over 7 years since the last game in the series landed on Switch in 2018, but it will only be a few more days before Nintendo launches the new Mario Tennis Fever to Switch 2 gamers everywhere – it is set to debut on Thursday, February 12 this week and pre-orders are up for grabs

This morning Nintendo is giving folks a chance to scope out the game’s intro as it has just uploaded the Mario Tennis Fever Opening Cinematic to its official YouTube channel:

The Mario Tennis Fever game launches Feb 12, only on the Nintendo Switch 2 system.

Join Mario, Peach, Bowser, Daisy, and 34 other playable characters as they hit the court for explosive action in the latest Mario Tennis game!

As mentioned above, our very own Fernando Silva also got a chance to give the game a go early, and you can scope out our hands-on impressions below:
