A pair of upcoming Switch 2 games are going on full display today as Nintendo is set to host nearly hour an half-long live stream to showcase Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and, just in time for Pokémon Day, the new Pokémon Pokopia.
Pokémon Pokopia and Mario Bros. Wonder gameplay stream
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition with the Bellabel Park expansion for Super Mario Bros. Wonder will hit store shelves on March 26 and, before that, the new Pokémon Pokopia is to land shortly after Pokémon Day on March 5.
While we have seen both games in action already to some degree, today’s showcase is actually another edition of Nintendo Treehouse Live. It’s no Direct and certainly lacks the potential for any major surprises, or at least, one would assume anyway, but these things are pretty good for showing lengthy gameplay clips that are mostly unedited. I’m sure the Nintendo staff has some limitations on what it can actually show off, but you will get to watch folks play these two games for what sounds like about 40 minutes each – the stream is scheduled for 80 minutes total anyway.
Today’s Nintendo Treehouse Live will go live down below at 2:00 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET:
Join us on Feb 24 at 2pm PT for a new Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation featuring hands-on gameplay of Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and Pokémon Pokopia. The livestream will last roughly 80 minutes.
