We got an early look at the official Nintendo MAR10 Day Switch game deals already this morning, but Nintendo has now issued an official press release detailing its complete Mario Day 2026 plans. This year is in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game and the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1, but there’s a whole lot more than that. Nintendo officially announces Mario Day 2026
This year’s celebration includes three weeks of in-game events inside of Mario Kart World, a sweepstakes for a chance to win a theme park vacation to experience SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, a host of in-person events at the Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO stores and more.
This year, MAR10 Day gets a power-up as we look back at 40 years of Super Mario Bros. The party runs all month long with fun activities featuring Mario and friends. Be sure to check below for the latest updates.
