Ratings board might have just leaked upcoming Marvel superhero game for Switch 2

The 2026 Nintendo leaks just keep coming. While not nearly as high-profile as the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake or even the rumored upcoming Star Fox game, it looks like Switch 2 will be getting some Marvel superhero action soon too.

Over the last few weeks, there seems to have been some major leaks out of Nintendo. It appears that not only do we already know what its next major Switch 2 hardware release might be, as well as its big 2026 holiday game release, but we also have details on a host of upcoming third-party ports set to land on Nintendo’s latest console. One of these leaks just came true with the official release date announcement for Rhythm Heaven: Groove on July 2.

While the really major stuff has seemingly leaked online through various known leakers and the like, those pesky ratings board have been responsible for their fair share of early leaks on upcoming Switch 2 ports as well.

This is certainly nothing new, but it does typically end up being a relatively reliable source of information on upcoming releases.

This far, these ratings boards – the companies reasonable for the age ratings and classifications on game releases – have already outed the existence of what appears to be several upcoming third-party games and ports for Switch 2:

  • Fire Emblem: Fortune Weave will release in the coming months
  • Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition will release in the coming months
  • Xenoblade 2 Switch 2 Edition will release in the coming months
  • Hell Is Us for Switch 2
  • Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival for Switch 2
  • Devil May Cry 5 for Switch 2
  • Duskbloods release window

And now, courtesy of what looks to be the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, it looks like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be landing on Switch 2 as well. A cloud version of the game already released for Switch, but it looks like some sort of Switch 2 edition could be on the way as well.

This ratings “leaks” don’t really give us a direct indication of release time frame, but they often times do come true…at some point.

Here’s a look courtesy of a Reddit user of the ratings listing in question.
