We’re halfway through April, which means Star Wars fans are buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming annual May the 4th event, particularly LEGO builders. Not only did we just get an official reveal of the latest UCS Star Wars set with two GWP that are hitting the market ahead of the day, but the LEGO Group is also gearing up for a live preview of what you can expect that will be happening in just a few hours.
As I mentioned, we already got some really big news today with the official unveiling of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter set that is absolutely gorgeous and will fit right in with collections/displays, as well as two GWP sets for the May 1-6 window. But now, LEGO will be giving us another set later today that might just be the centerpiece of the May the 4th event this year.
All we know for certain is what we have on the main landing page here, which states “Go behind the scenes as we reveal a new mystery set at 12pm ET / 9am PT. You could win a signed set or bundle.” There’s no telling what the LEGO Group has in store, but luckily, we won’t have to wait very long to find out – plus, it’s only a two-week waiting period before it (and the other UCS set) can be scored for collections everywhere.
