Just as we expected and just as the leakers leaked, the official Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Worldwide Reveal Showcase will wash ashore this week.
Ubisoft has now officially announced this week’s worldwide reveal showcase for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake.
Rumors have been surfacing for quite a long time now, but more recently select folks had a chance to see the game early and someone told someone who told the internet the game would be revealed this week, and we now know for certain it will be.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Worldwide Reveal Showcase already has a placeholder over on the official Ubisoft YouTube channel ahead of its start time on Thursday, April 23. The broadcast will go live at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET.
The iconic solo pirate adventure returns.
While you can certainly say this was the worst kept secret in the animus, as we have more less known this was coming for quite a long time now, but you could also say that about Nintendo’s entire 2026 launch plans at this point, and about a million other things too. Let’s just be happy it is indeed happening.
And, all things considered, this could have just been some lazy remaster or something, but just about all signs point to it being an expanded and entirely proper remake…here are some of the details that have been floating around the last few days on what to expect this Thursday:
- It runs on the latest Anvil Engine.
- It introduces a host of new story and gameplay content, including add-on missions, some additional backstory chapters to play through, new cremates and officers
- Underwater exploration/mechanics have been much-improved (or expanded in some way)
- Players, will reportedly, be able to have a pet monkey or cat on their ship
