Walmart announces massive 2-2026 summer sale to take on Prime Day, here are the details

Just we suspected, Walmart is also pushing its big summer sale ahead roughly one month, much like we have seen from Amazon, Best Buy, and Target already.

Walmart has no informed 9to5Toys that its massive summer sale event, simply known as “Walmart Deals,” will going live right alongside the major sales from its direct competition come the end of June this year.

Typically a July situation, Walmart is jumping things ahead and running its summer Walmart Deals sale 2 or 3 weeks early to lineup with Amazon Prime Day and Best Buy, much like we predicted previously.

This year’s summer Walmart Deals sale will go Iive on June 22 and run right through the week until June 28 – taking a play out of Best Buy’s book.

Walmart tells us it will offer “thousands of deals across top brands and customer-favorite categories, including electronics, fashion, toys, furniture and more,” as per usual, but new to this year’s sale we will see “eligible Walmart+ members” getting “exclusive early access to select high-demand hot deal drops before they become available to all customers.”

Walmart Deals begins online at 12:01 a.m. ET on June 22 and in stores at 6 a.m. local
time. The event concludes at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 28 and at regular closing time
in stores. W+ early access to hot Deal drops begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on June 22. Any
remaining hot Deal drop items will open to all customers at 12:01 a.m. ET on June
23.

We have seen it offer exclusive early access to Walmart+ members plenty of times, but it is typically a 1-day head start before the sale opens up to everyone, whereas this year’s it sounds like these offers will be specific to select items.

Here’s more details from Walmart on the upcoming event and stay locked to 9to5Toys for up-to-the-minute coverage of the biggest discounts:
