Next Nintendo Direct goes live tomorrow morning

The next Nintendo Direct goes live tomorrow morning folks. During the major summer Direct earlier this month, Nintendo announced it would take the virtual stage once again for a dedicated showcase ahead of its next first-party Switch release and that day is quickly approaching.

Splatoon Raiders, the next treasure-hunting, single-player focused action shooter in its inked out Splatoon series, is set to land on Switch 2 consoles everywhere come July 23.

But before that, Nintendo will host a dedicated Nintendo Direct showcase to give gamers a better look at the experience – the show goes live tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET and “run for roughly 15 minutes” to “provide more info on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game.”

Immediately following the Direct, Nintendo Treehouse: Live will broadcast a closer look with 30 minutes of gameplay on the new Splatoon Raiders.

Response to the new Raiders formula has been rather tame for a new first-party Nintendo Switch 2 game. I mean it’s no Zelda or Mario of course, but here’s to hoping Nintendo lands with a impressive dedicated showcase tomorrow, not unlike it did when it gave us a deep dive on Donkey Kong Bonanza that more or less cemented DK’s latest 3D adventure as the real killer launch title for its new console.
