It is Nintendo Direct day folks. While it’s not the big September showcase or the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake blowout we are all waiting, this morning Nintendo is set to go live with dedicated 20-minute broadcast on next month’s big Switch 2 release.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Direct
Rumors and speculation surrounding the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake are beginning to swell as we push further into 2026, and inevitably closer to the first gameplay reveal and subsequent release date announcement. But Nintendo is taking some time out today to highlight September’s big Switch 2 exclusive: Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.

The latest in the series is set for release on September 17 and we will get what should be a somewhat in-depth look at gameplay here this morning courtesy of the latest dedicated Nintendo Direct offering.
