First images of new special edition Zelda Switch 2 console and Pro controller reportedly leak online

Aside from the actual release date for the upcoming Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake, and the Direct giving us a proper look at it, Nintendo’s rumored upcoming Zelda Switch 2 special edition console and the Pro controller are the hottest Hylian thing going right now, and it looks like the very first images might have just leaked online.

Leaks and rumors regarding a Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake special edition Switch 2 console go way back before Nintendo even confirmed the existence of the game itself.

Since then, some of the more reliable and active Nintendo leakers have changed gears, suggesting the console is actually a more generalized Zelda 40th anniversary treatment and would be accompanied by a new Pro Controller of the same ilk.

And if today’s leaked images of the console and controller are indeed the real thing, this is actually what we will be getting very soon.

It is worth pointing out that not only can we not corroborate any of these images internally, they are not actually images of the gear, but rather just what appears to be official Nintendo packaging. Whether or not it is the real thing is unclear – these images seem to stem from the Centro LEAKS X account and it is entirely unclear at this point whether or not they are legit:
