Miami’s NBA team changing name to Vice City Heat in celebration of GTA VI release

I’m sure you have already seen the gigantic neon pink Vice City signage atop the Kaseya Center in Miami already. Well, it is now lit up and Rockstar has struck some sort of promotional deal with the Vice City Heat for one night only.

In a post on the official Miami Heat X account, the team has announced a sort of one night-only promotion where it will refer to itself as the Vice City Heat when it plays host to the Bucks on November 18 – one day before Grand Theft Auto VI takes the world over.

The Miami will also be wearing special jerseys in celebration of the event, alongside a brand new court design. The first time Giannas plays against his old team is going to be in a Vice City jersey, I wonder how much that game-worn Vice City uni will be worth.
