The early deal situation is one and the official 2026 fall Prime Day sale is now live. While we are yet to see any notable discounts on Apple’s new AirPods 5, its flagship personal listening devices are now seeing some seriously notable discounts. The top-of-the-line AirPods Pro 3 have now dropped to one of the best prices ever, and you’ll find all five colors of the latest AirPods Max 2 at $120 off the list price.
I happen to think Apple is delivering some serious value with the new AirPods 5, especially the entry set that now includes ANC for $129. But, all things considered, they are very much not as good as AirPods Pro 3 and you can land them for just $50 more right now as part of the Amazon fall Prime Day sale.
- AirPods Pro 3 $179 (Reg. $249)
Regularly $249, this is $70 off and within $10 of the lowest price we have ever tracked from a reputable source.
If you’re looking to go with a set of Apple over-ears, there’s only one option if you ask me, and that’s the latest 2026 AirPods Max at $120 off the list price. Apple finally delivered a proper next-generation pair of Max this year – the last new release was just some new paint jobs and a USB-C port – and you can land them down at $429.
- AirPods Max 2 $429 (Reg. $549)
Now $120 off the list, this is only the second time we have seen them down this low at Amazon and they have only ever sold for less once – that was a limited time offer for $30 under the fall Prime Day price we have right now.
