Heads up! 9to5Toys now has confirmation that Walmart has a Switch 2 re-stock going live tonight

Update 6/7: The re-stock units went live last night and, you guessed it, quickly went out of stock shortly thereafter. Stay locked to 9to5Toys for more updates.

9to5Toys has it on good authority that Walmart will have a re-stock of Nintendo Switch 2 units tonight! We unfortunately do not have an exact time as to when this might happen but you’ll want to stay locked to our X (Twitter) feed for updates the minute the consoles go live

Walmart had a select number of units go up for sale at midnight ET on launch night, funneling gamers into the usual virtual queue situation – it was really the only notable place to even score one on launch night and more are set to go live “tonight.”

Walmart – Nintendo Switch 2 launch

We do not know exactly when units will go live tonight – is this going to be a midnight situation again? We do not know.

That said, you will want to be ready, logged in to your Walmart account, and have your payment method at the ready. Folks looking to score one later tonight will also want to get into the virtual queue as soon as possible when it happens, if there is one.

Walmart only had stock of the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle on launch night, but we are not sure how things will go later tonight.

Be ready!
